"Una de las mejores comidas para probar en Tulum, perfectas para un buen desayuno. Reciben su nombre porque algunas de las gorditas son metidas a la brasa caliente y así las terminan de cocer. Rellenas de frijoles refritos y el guisado de tu elección (los guisos cambian diariamente) hacen de ellas un manjar. No dudes en probarlas. One of the best foods to try in Tulum, perfect for a hearty breakfast. They get their name because some of the gorditas are placed on a hot grill to finish cooking. Filled with refried beans and your choice of stew (the stews change daily), they're a true delicacy. Don't hesitate to try them."

"*A MUST TRY* if staying or even if just passing by Tulum! We tried lots of different food from restaurants or streets in two weeks in Yucatan e Quintana Roo and this is on our top three! Tried all their types of 'gorditas' and we ordered more! Even a delicious option for vegetarians or vegans. Their complementary pickled habanero salad was delicious too! Lovely calm chef-owner. I wish we had time to come back 2/3 more times!"
